Due to inclement weather, all NCTC Campuses are closed until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2019. Campuses will reopen, and classes begin at 10:00 a.m. Non-essential employees should report to work 2 hours late. Classes scheduled prior to 10:00 a.m. that meet for less than two hours in duration are cancelled. Classes starting before 10:00, but scheduled longer than two hours will run based on instructor discretion. The instructors will decide the plan for classes longer than two hours. Hopefully, they have communicated plans in such cases with you. If not, you should be in touch with instructors for such classes. Everyone is encouraged to use independent judgment and discretion and be cautious when it comes to deciding if you will venture out into the conditions. Please check the college website for updates regarding weather-related notifications. Students are encouraged to sign up for WENS, if you have not already done so as it is probably the best way to stay informed regarding college weather related (and other emergency) announcements. BA in Philosophy & German: North Dakota State University, 2001
My experience at NCTC began in 2006-07, when I taught a full year at the East Grand Forks campus. I returned to graduate school after that year, and then re-joined NCTC at the Thief River Falls campus in August 2012.
My other teaching experience includes being a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Instructor in my two graduate programs (Arizona State University and the University of Minnesota). While at the University of Minnesota, I also taught courses as an adjunct at MSU-Mankato, Metropolitan State University, and the Minneapolis College of Art & Design.
