Northland Community & Technical College Streamlines Enrollment Process with “Northland Launch” Events Starting March 28

The series of one-stop enrollment days offers students the opportunity to complete all necessary enrollment steps in a single day.

Northland Community & Technical College is rolling out the red carpet for future students by hosting “Northland Launch,” a series of one-stop enrollment days aimed at simplifying the college admissions process. Starting March 28, prospective students can attend a Northland Launch event to complete all enrollment steps in a single day, including applying for admission, taking placement tests, meeting with advisors, registering for classes, and more.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for students to start their college journey,” said Heidi Kippenhan, Director of Enrollment Management & Advising at Northland. “Northland Launch allows students to complete everything they need to become a Northland student in one visit. Our staff will be on hand to walk students through the entire process and make sure all their questions are answered so they can head home ready for their first day of classes.”

The first Northland Launch event will be held Thursday, March 28, at Northland’s East Grand Forks campus, while the second is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, at the Thief River Falls campus. Students are encouraged to sign up in advance, but walk-ins will also be welcome.

In addition to enrollment assistance, attendees can explore programs of study, tour campus facilities, learn about and apply for scholarships, get help with financial aid, and find out about campus services.

“A college education opens up so many opportunities and we want to open the door for as many students as possible,” said Dr. Sandy Kiddoo, President of Northland. “Northland Launch is one more way we’re working to make college accessible, affordable, and achievable for all students.”

Interested students can sign up at www.northlandcollege.edu/launch, call 800.959.6282, or email admissions@northlandcollege.edu. Additional Northland Launch events will be held throughout the spring and summer at both the Thief River Falls and East Grand Forks campuses.
