The 3rd annual event will be held on March 21 from 5-7 p.m.
March 13, 2019 – The Thief River Falls Chamber of Commerce, City of Thief River Falls, and Northland Community & Technical College will host its 3rd annual State of the City address and social on March 21, 2019. The event will be held on Northland's Thief River Falls campus. A social with light appetizers and cash bar will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Gunderson Commons. The event program and presentations will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Northland’s Theatre. This year’s event theme Service to Community will highlight the city’s emergency management services (EMS). In addition, area community service and nonprofit organizations will be exhibiting in the commons.
Representatives from area EMS will present on the state of their departments and give updates on their work within the community. Dick Wittenberg TRF Chief of Police, Ray Kuznia, Pennington County Sheriff, Marty Semanko TRF Fire Department Co-Fire Chief, and Kali Muchow, TRF Ambulance Operations Manager have been invited to be featured speakers.
