Program Overview

The Precision Agriculture Diploma prepares individuals to work with industry driven technology in agricultural careers. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for the fast paced and diverse agricultural industry with emphasis on the technology components used in Agriculture. The program includes instruction in the principles of application and management of precision agriculture as it relates to safety, animal science, Global Positioning System (GPS) and geographic information system (GIS), agribusiness, drones, and agronomy. The curriculum implements hands-on use of various technologies used in tractors, spraying, harvesting, agricultural implements, and animal science equipment.
