Updates from NCTC Director Of Facilities

Monday, May 7, 2018

Good Afternoon,

The City of Thief River Falls has scheduled road construction on Highway 1 starting around June 1st and ending around July 30th this summer. The first phase of the project will start at the 8th street bridge and work west to Erl’s gas station. The final phase of the project will be the resurfacing of Highway 1 going past the college ending at the intersection east of the college.

There will be other access routes that will get us to and from the college throughout most of the project but traffic is predicted to be very congested on these routes. The intersection at Atlantic is scheduled to be one of the first stages of the project and will be closed for a total of 4 days. Highway 59 and Davis is predicted to be a problem area for traffic.

I will give updates as more information is provided.
