New and Returning Students
After the semester starts, you will receive a Handshake account. If you have never logged into Handshake, please follow the steps below to complete your profile.
Alumni
As a graduate of Northland, you can still access Handshake to apply for jobs, join events, and network with employers. If you are interested in a Handshake account, please check out the resources below.
Need to know
Northland diligently screens against fraudulent employer postings in our Handshake database. However, students should use reasonable caution in all avenues of their job search and employer communications. If you notice suspicious employer language or behavior, please report it to Northland staff immediately.
By registering and posting your resume, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Career Center staff have access to all information contained in the system.
- By entering information and uploading documents, you provide details to a network of employers approved by the Career Center.
- Employers may use registrants’ information solely for hiring. This information must not be sold or distributed to any other entity.
- The information in job or internship postings and any details provided by employers are the sole responsibility of the employers. The Career Center does not endorse or guarantee any postings or employer-provided information.
- We reserve the right to deny access to anyone who misuses the system’s intent and services.
