Course Description
This course is an introduction to the fundamental accounting concepts and principles used to analyze and record business transactions for sole proprietors and corporations. Topics include the accounting cycle for a service and merchandising business, accounting and analysis of: cash, accounts receivable, inventory, short and long-term liabilities, and property, plant and equipment. Students will also prepare the basic financial statements.
