Northland Community & Technical College’s Emergency Procedures will provide employees and students with specific procedures and guidelines for dealing with a variety of crisis situations that may occur at Northland. A crisis can be described as an abnormal, dangerous, or life-threatening situation requiring urgent action to protect people and/or property. These procedures apply for all activities – school, public or community – that may take place in the College facility or on the property/grounds.
These Emergency Procedures are written in a way that may not directly relate to a specific situation. It is the responsibility of the employee or student to adapt or revise according to the situation. This document will be revised as needed, and the Emergency Management Team shall review and update these procedures.
