Experience Northland: Community Open House (Aerospace)

Discover the fascinating world of Aerospace with our Community Open House event! Whether you're a curious neighbor, aspiring student, or nostalgic alum, this event offers something exciting for everyone. Come explore and learn about the innovative programs and opportunities Northland has to offer in the aviation industry.

Northland's Aerospace Site will be hosting a community open house on April 11, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will provide an opportunity to get an up-close look at Northland's aviation maintenance technology and UAS programs. Attendees will see the aircraft, simulators, and tools students work on as they prepare for their careers in the booming industry. The open house is free and open to the public.

Our state-of-the-art aerospace site is where innovation meets excitement! With over 20 aircraft (yes, including a DC-9 from the Detroit Pistons NBA team!), the possibilities are endless. Our hands-on activities offer a unique opportunity to explore everything from mastering the art of drone racing to controlling land robots to riveting airplane joints and exploring the world of virtual reality.
