Northland will be hosting the regional FFA leadership contests on November 13 at its Thief River Falls campus. Students from 19 different school districts will come to Northland to compete and engage in agricultural activities.
Participants will compete in various events, including job interview, parliamentary procedure, public speaking, extemporaneous speaking, creed speaking, Farm Bureau discussion, and conduct of meetings. Students who place in the top two will advance to the state competition on December 9-10 in St. Cloud, MN.
Additionally, students will have the opportunity to explore other career pathways at Northland including agriculture, welding, uncrewed aerial systems, automotive maintenance, autobody, criminal justice, and nursing.
